Project Management

For the execution of a contracted project, TTCL assigns a project manager and organizes a project team. Suitable team members are selected according to the scale and type of the project, and work under the project manager to carry out schedule, budgetary, quality, and safety controls with a consistent concept and policy.

TTCL has acquired project management know-how through various projects in Thailand and neighboring countries and therefore has the most up-to-date knowledge of local conditions. In particular, the proven and on-going mobilization experience and capability in handling local resources, i.e. materials and labor, is of prime importance for successful project execution.

Basic Design and Detailed Engineering

Based on clients& rsquo specifications, TTCL reviews planning by simulation of techno-economical aspects. Thus basic conditions such as process optimization, heat balance, material balance and operating policies are established and followed by layouts and detailed design of civil, equipment, piping, electrical and instrumentation. From these designs, various drawings and specifications are made. As for safety, environmental conservation, and quality assurance and control, scrupulous checks are carried out independently by respective specialized departments of the Engineering Division.

Procurement, Inspection and Transportation

All equipment and materials necessary for projects are procured from various sources. TTCL reviews costs, quality and delivery dates carefully to choose the most suitable suppliers. Control of delivery and quality as well as inspection is subsequently carried out by TTCL& rsquo s experienced specialists. Having various affiliated offices in the world, TTCL can offer worldwide coverage for procurement.

Construction

For construction work, TTCL organizes a team to work on the site. The team comprises engineers and supervisors who are experienced not only in plant construction but also in construction of other facilities. It is through this team that careful planning is carried out to complete the work within the contracted period. Naturally its duty includes schedule, safety, quality, and workforce control.

Quality and Safety

TTCL always executes the project with bearing in mind that safety and quality are the most important aspect of the project. Quality Management System is established in compliance with the requirements of the international standard ISO 9001:2008. Occupational Health and Safety Management System is established in compliance with the requirements of the international standard OHSAS 18001:2007 and the Thai Industrial Standard TIS 18001:1999.
